What we collect
- Order data: name, shipping address, email, phone, order contents. Needed to fulfill your order.
- Payment data: processed directly by our payment providers (PayPal, Stripe, and card processors). We never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage data: pages viewed, referrer, browser/device type, approximate location (city-level). Collected via Google Analytics 4 and BigCommerce built-in analytics.
- Cookies: essential (cart, checkout session), analytics (GA4), and ad measurement (Google Ads conversion tracking).
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- We do not share your data with data brokers.
- We do not use dark patterns to trick you into subscriptions.
- We do not send marketing email unless you opt in at checkout or on a signup form.

GDPR (EU / UK visitors)
If you visit from the EU or UK you have the same rights under GDPR. Same email, same 15-day response window. Legal basis for processing order data is contract performance; analytics is legitimate interest.
Data retention
Order records: 7 years (US tax requirement). Analytics data: 14 months (GA4 default). Marketing email opt-ins: until you unsubscribe. Account data: until you request deletion.
Security
The site runs on TLS 1.3, hosted by BigCommerce which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Payment data never touches our servers. Order data is encrypted at rest.
Children
The site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child provided us information, email info@simrigsupply.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes are announced by email if you have an account with us.
